There is one thing I love about the design process – which is getting the designer look for less! Yes, quality CAN differ – but it doesn’t always mean you are sacrificing quality just because something isn’t the name brand. In our modern world of retail, most retailers get the exact same products from the same warehouse and manufacturer as the knock-off brand. They, of course, just have the money to sink into a great marketing plan to make you think it’s something special. It’s fascinating how branding can manipulate perception; after all, many of us have been conditioned to believe that a higher price tag equates to greater value or durability. This is not to say that all off-brand products are created equal, but often, the difference lies more in the label than the actual quality. Is this always 100% true? No. But it is at least 80% of the time, and for me, 80% is high enough to save some money! The freedom to explore and discover great alternatives opens up a world of savings and creativity that can help anyone achieve a stylish and aesthetically pleasing home without breaking the bank. Finding unique pieces that resonate with personal style is a rewarding experience, and it encourages consumers to make informed choices. After all, who doesn’t want a fabulous look that feels like luxury but comes at a fraction of the designer price?

How about everyones favorite – cabinet pulls!

Now I could recommend you buy these 40+ dollar a peice pulls from restoration hardware.

OR I could recommend these great – solid brass alternatives from Amazon.

Less doesn’t always mean lesser quality. Would you shop the look for less?
